Ten Hag reveals plans to deploy Sancho in new position

Erik ten Hag and Jadon Sancho have moved on from their issues of last season.

Jadon Sancho who primarily is a winger, impressed on loan last season with Borussia Dortmund.

Ten Hag recently deployed Sancho as a false 9 during Manchester United’s pre-season games, and Ten Hag has hinted he wants to repeat same in the season proper.

Ten Hag said: “Jadon can play across the whole frontline.

“He’s an option for more than one position. It depends how you set up the team.

“You can look at your own tactics, opponents that fit the best, and Jadon had some abilities you can use in a game.”

Sancho is set to start for Manchester United when the Red Devils face Manchester City in the Community Shield this weekend.
