Antony is free

Brazilian police have cleared Manchester United winger Antony, of domestic violence towards his ex-girlfriend, reports claim.

Antony has been under investigation since the accusations were made against him last year.

Antony was accused by his former partner Gabriela Cavallin of offending, assaulting and threatening her, which led to the Sao Paulo police department to conduct an investigation.

Brazilian authorities have now cleared Antony of any wrongdoing.

Over a year after the complaint was made by Gabriela Cavallin, the Brazilian police have concluded their investigation, and found no evidence of any wrongdoing by Antony.
