Premier League legend Alan Shearer has slammed Marcus Rashford following his poor performance against Brighton.

Manchester United lost to Brighton 2-1 at the Amex Stadium, with Marcus Rashford having another poor game.

The 26-year-old was poor with his positioning which led to him getting caught offside too often.

“He’s not a youngster anymore,” the retired striker said on BBC Match Of The Day. “He has to understand the position and look across the pitch when you can see the whole of it, you shouldn’t be offside then.”

Marcus Rashford failed to take a single shot on goal and was caught offside two times against Brighton.

Rashford managed only seven goals in 33 Premier League appearances last season. His poor form has continued this season.
