Manchester United set another bad record under Ruben Amorim

Manchester United’s struggles at Old Trafford continued as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, marking their fifth home loss in just seven Premier League games under manager Ruben Amorim.
This dismal run has now cemented the worst start in the club’s history, a record no United fan would have wanted.
To put this into perspective, previous managers took significantly longer to rack up five home league defeats. David Moyes lost five home matches in 14 games, Erik ten Hag needed 28, and Louis van Gaal took 30. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lasted 31 home matches before reaching that mark, while Sir Alex Ferguson took a staggering 88 games.
Incredibly, neither Jose Mourinho nor Ralf Rangnick ever reached five Premier League home defeats during their time at the club. Yet under Amorim, United have hit that unwanted milestone in record time.
As the pressure mounts on the Portuguese manager, fans will be hoping for an immediate turnaround to salvage what has already been a historically poor campaign at the Theatre of Dreams.
