Ruben Amorim can replicate Sporting success at Manchester United – Bruno Fernandes says

Bruno Fernandes has expressed his belief that Ruben Amorim can bring the same level of success to Manchester United as he did at Sporting CP.

The United captain emphasised that he and his teammates are eager to recreate the winning mentality and togetherness that defined Amorim’s tenure in Portugal.

“I knew the way Sporting was playing, I knew the fans were excited, and the players were very happy with him [Amorim] there,” Fernandes told CBS Sports.

“I think we all saw in the last game that he had there [at Sporting] how much togetherness there was with the players and staff during that time.

“Me and my teammates, along with the technical staff and the manager, want to recreate that. To do so, we need to start winning trophies as well.”

Amorim made history at Sporting, leading them to their first Primeira Liga title in 19 years. However, his early months at Manchester United have been far from smooth, with the team struggling to climb out of the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Despite the tough start, Fernandes remains optimistic that Amorim’s philosophy and leadership can turn United’s fortunes around. The Red Devils now face the challenge of building a team capable of replicating the success Amorim achieved in Portugal.
