Manchester United produce stunning comeback victory to defeat Real Sociedad

Manchester United delivered a sensational comeback performance to thrash Real Sociedad 4-1 and book their place in the next round of the Europa League.

However, United responded swiftly when Rasmus Hojlund was brought down in the box, allowing Bruno Fernandes to step up and dispatch a confident penalty to restore parity.

The momentum shifted decisively in United’s favour when Real Sociedad were reduced to ten men. Jon Aramburu saw a straight red card after bringing down Dorgu as the last man, leaving the Spanish side with an uphill battle.

Fernandes, leading by example, completed his hat-trick in the final ten minutes—his second goal coming from another spot-kick, while his third was a clinical low finish into the bottom corner.

Diogo Dalot put the icing on the cake in stoppage time with a close-range strike, sealing an emphatic victory for the Red Devils.
