Loyal Manchester United fans send message to Erik ten Hag and Andre Onana
Some section of Manchester United fans have sent an encouraging message to under-fire goalkeeper Andre Onana after his error in the Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich.
The Cameroonian has endured a tough start to his United career. We have lost four of our first six games of the new season across all competitions, conceding 14 goals in the process.
However, a large section of Man United fans have faith in the new goalkeeper — as well as Erik ten Hag — and have backed him to deliver at the club in the end.
Here are their encouraging messages:
GutBeer101 (via /r/RedDevils): “Good character. I hope this signing works out.”
ColdandTense: “Onana and ETH are the last two people who supporters should be having a go at. Look at the people who’ve been here for years during this nightmare of a run. Owners, suits, big name players. Our problems are deep.”
Forgiveneverforget: “He will come good and so will Ten Hag. Chin up lads, how we deal with adversity is what defines us including the fans.”
Dystxpian98: “F***ing love Onana. Could see he was seething with himself. Determined to win and be the best.”
AJ-Naka-Zayn-Owens: “I’m sorry to all fans who are upset with Onana’s performance, but I’m in the mindset that he’ll become good for us. It doesn’t kill us to give him time to settle in and give him a season, AT LEAST, please?”
